These Wild Grasses drop earrings feature two overlapping sterling silver strands, one in polished silver, the other hand-enamelled silver, hanging from silver posts. The drop earrings are hand-enamelled in 'Meadow' enamel in Sheila Fleet's Orkney workshop.
The wild and windswept coastlines of Orkney and Caithness, in the north of Scotland, are covered with hardy marram grass, which sweeps from side to side in the sea breezes.
